Tammy Abraham wants to join West Ham this summer instead of Everton or Aston Villa according to a report from The Mirror.
Hammers boss David Moyes absolutely must strengthen his centre-forward ranks at the London Stadium this summer.
With so many games lying in wait for West Ham this season, we absolutely cannot head into the campaign with Michail Antonio as our only striker.
Moyes has been linked with moves for numerous centre-forwards since Sebastien Haller left for Ajax in January.
None more so than Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham.
Tammy Abraham wants to join West Ham
The Hammers fans were understandably worried when Arsenal entered the race to sign the Blues hitman.
The report was covered here on Hammers News on Thursday.
Everton and Villa are reportedly keen on signing the striker as well (The Mirror).
There is better news for the West Ham fans now, however, with The Mirror claiming that Abraham wants to move to the London Stadium this summer.
Tammy would be an exceptional addition for the Hammers.
The 23-year-old is big and strong, good in the air and has very impressive pace. He’s also a brilliant finisher.
He could be available for around £30 million this summer (Football.London). That seems like outstanding value for a player with Abraham’s undoubted quality.
Whether West Ham’s board manage to get this one over the line, however, remains to be seen.
