And Lingard himself is keen to make a return to West Ham before the start of the new season.
Jesse spent four months on loan at the London Stadium during the 2020/21 season and he was a huge hit with the Hammers fans.
Unfortunately for us, and him to a certain extent, Jesse returned to Manchester United in the summer of 2021.
He’s now a free agent having been released from his boyhood club though and a return to the London Stadium could well be on the cards…

The Chicken Run was West Ham’s notorious East Stand at Upton Park.
It was infamously loud, aggressive and intimidating and all West Ham fans from a certain generation will remember it.
Whether Lingard’s Instagram message actually has anything to do with the famous old stand is debatable.
One thing’s for sure though, Jesse Lingard must know that he is really loved at West Ham.
And a return to the club this summer seems like an absolute no-brainer for him.
