Arsenal are interested in signing West Ham United transfer target Tammy Abraham from Roma in the January window.
That’s according to a report from LaRoma24.it who claim that Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is ‘convinced’ that the the 25-year-old Roma hitman would take his side to another level.
Now, the Gunners’ interest in the ex-Chelsea forward will obviously be a big problem for West Ham.
Hammers manager David Moyes is allegedly keen to bring Abraham to the London Stadium.

Roma boss Jose Mourinho is open to allowing Tammy to leave the Italian capital in January (The Evening Standard). And it seems as though West Ham could face a big battle with Arsenal for his signature…
Arsenal eyeing move to sign West Ham target Tammy Abraham
LaRoma24.it claim that the Gunners boss Arteta is keen to bring the 25-year-old centre-forward to the Emirates Stadium in the January transfer window.
I think that Abraham would be the perfect addition to Moyes’s West Ham squad. So Arsenal’s reported interest in the striker is obviously far from ideal for the Hammers.
Abraham is big and strong, is exceptionally athletic and has pace in abundance. He is also a very good finisher. It is clear to see that West Ham should have gone all out to sign him last summer.
And now Moyes will really have his work cut out.

The 25-year-old has bagged 31 goals and seven assists in 73 games for AS Roma (Transfermarkt).
He has been described as ‘unstoppable’ by Football Italia.
I believe that Tammy Abraham would be the ideal signing for West Ham, in order to provide some proper competition for Gianluca Scamacca.
Arsenal will clearly be a big problem for us though.
The project at the Emirates is light years ahead of the one at the London Stadium.
And it would not surprise me one little bit to see Abraham jump at the chance to join Arsenal rather than West Ham in January.
