Reliable West Ham United insider ExWHUemployee has lifted the lid on when he expects transfer activity to start moving.

The only deal West Ham have done since the window opened last month is to make Tomas Soucek’s loan move permanent.
David Moyes has no money for transfers according to insiders Claret & Hugh – who have a direct line to unpopular owners David Sullivan and David Gold.

All quiet on the West Ham front as fans grow frustrated with lack of activity
The Scot must sell to buy.
Albian Ajeti has been sold to Celtic for around £5million (Scottish Sun).
But that money is expected to be used to finally pay the late installment to Eintracht Frankfurt for Sebastien Haller. The £5.4m installment was due in May and remains unpaid despite Frankfurt’s complaint to FIFA (Sky Sports).
Moyes has a well publicised list of targets. QPR’s Eberechi Eze is believed to be at the top of that list (Evening Standard) alongside several other Championship players.
The Hammers have also been linked with Premier League defenders John Stones, Phil Jones and Shane Duffy.
Half the clubs in the Premier League, including Arsenal, Tottenham, Southampton, Aston Villa, Chelsea, Liverpool, Leeds and Manchester City have made or are on the verge of making signings.

‘Owners always seem to find the money from somewhere’
But it is all quiet on the West Ham front with the season less than a month away.
Supporters are growing frustrated at the situation. Particularly the board’s stance that the global health crisis means West Ham have no money to spend.
Speaking on the latest West Ham Way podcast, ExWHUemployee painted a bleak picture regarding transfers.
But the anonymous Twitter personality also pointed out that West Ham always seem to find the money from somewhere for signings, citing the capture of Soucek, Jarrod Bowen and Darren Randolph in January as examples.
West Ham are due back for testing this weekend before pre-season begins next week. And ExWHUemployee believes things could start moving soon on the transfer front.
“The players come back this Sunday where they’ll be doing a load of Covid tests to check whether anyone’s got it obviously,” ExWHUemployee said on the West Ham Way podcast (August 12th)…

Insider expects transfer activity soon
“The players will then start their pre-season, not confirmed so please don’t quote me on this, but I think they could be going to Scotland on the Tuesday to Saint Andrews possibly…
“Things will start to happen now. All the players come back on Sunday right, so that is when transfers and everything is going to kick on.
“And as I’ve said on previous shows there is something at the end of the window which could be quite interesting…
“I do think we will find some money from somewhere, because in all my experience of doing this as an ITK now, in every window we are told ‘we don’t have this money, we’ve got to sell this player, we don’t have this, we don’t have that’ and somehow money is found.
“It was for Bowen, it was for Soucek… it was for Randolph so I think we will find money if we need to find it, but the line that’s being pushed at the moment by the club, through their trusted sources, is that we have no money.”
