Hammers boss David Moyes desperately needs to bring a new striker to the London Stadium this month.

West Ham have had to make do with Michail Antonio as our only recognised senior striker for a year now after Sebastien Haller was sold to Ajax last January.

If the Hammers are to push on in the new year and make a real run for the Champions League places, the addition of a prolific, top-class centre-forward this month will be an absolute necessity.

And we think that Cabral could be just the man for the job.

The Brazilian hitman has pretty much everything that David Moyes looks for in a striker. He has been in sensational form in Switzerland this season and it appears as though he could be London Stadium bound.

West Ham to sign FC Basel striker Arthur Cabral imminently?

According to insiders westhamfans.org, David Moyes could bring the 23-year-old hitman to East London as early as Wednesday.

What a huge boost that would be for the club if it turns out to be true.

4-4-2.CH writer Andre Oechsner gave us some in depth analysis on Cabral when speaking exclusively to Hammers News back in November.

The Brazilian forward has bagged 27 goals and eight assists in just 31 games for Basel in all competitions this season (Transfermarkt).

Cabral is energetic, dynamic, have great movement and is an exemplary finisher.

The South American isn’t the fastest of strikers. What Cabral lacks in speed, however, he more than makes up for with his exceptional technical ability.

We think the Basel ace would be a tremendous addition to Moyes’s ranks at the London Stadium.

The 23-year-old could be available for just £10 million as well (Calciomercato.it) – an absolute bargain.

And it seems as though Cabral might be plying his trade in the famous Claret and Blue very soon.
