West Ham right-back Ryan Fredericks is top of the list of players who David Moyes wants to sell in January according to a report from Claret and Hugh.

The 28-year-old has really struggled since moving to the London Stadium on a free transfer in the summer of 2018.

The Hammers fans expected big things of Ryan Fredericks when he swapped west London for east London two-and-a-half years ago.

The pacy full-back has flattered to deceive, however.

He is now behind summer signing Vladimir Coufal in the right-back pecking order at West Ham.

It could even be argued that 20-year-old Ben Johnson is ahead of him as well.

Claret and Hugh reckon Fredericks’ fate could already be sealed. The Hammers insiders suggest that the 28-year-old tops the list of players who David Moyes wants gone in January.

Selling the former Fulham man is probably the right decision.

As long as we sign a new left wing-back to cover Arthur Masuaku’s absence, Ben Johnson can then be used solely as Vladimir Coufal’s deputy.

Hopefully we receive a decent amount of cash for Fredericks in January. Maybe then David Moyes will be in a stronger position to secure some of his top targets next month.
