Insider claims Jesse Lingard has given Marcus Rashford advice about potential West Ham move

Jesse Lingard has spoken very highly of West Ham and David Moyes to Manchester United teammate Marcus Rashford.

That’s according to club insiders Claret and Hugh who claims that Manchester United inside man Terry Robbin has told them that Rashford has heard great things about us from Lingard.

The 24-year-old Man United’s future at Old Trafford is completely up in the air at the moment.

His current contract with Manchester United expires in the summer of 2023, although the 20 time league winners have the option to extend that deal by a further 12 months.

90 Min claimed recently that Rashford could be all set to leave Old Trafford and West Ham boss David Moyes wants to bring him to the London Stadium in the summer transfer window.

It seems as though signing Rashford will be an incredibly tough deal to get done for the Hammers though…

Jesse Lingard gives Rashford West Ham advice

Now, it appears as though a deal to bring Rashford to the Hammers will be almost impossible to get done.

Manchester United are demanding around £70 million for the 24-year-old and he currently earns £375k-a-week according to Claret and Hugh. Having said that though, Spotrac put the England international on closer to £200k-a-week.

There is one good bit of news for West Ham though…

It appears as though Lingard has been raving about West Ham and David Moyes to Rashford.

Jesse spent an incredibly successful four-month loan spell with the Hammers last season and he was a huge hit at the London Stadium.

Moyes, the players and the fans loved Lingard and it is obvious that the feeling was mutual.

It’s a shame that we didn’t manage to sign Lingard permanently. Who knows though, perhaps we’ll bring him in on a free transfer in the summer transfer window.

And it seems as though the 29-year-old has tried to sell West Ham United to his best mate Rashford as well. Good lad!
