Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic’s imminent £60m move to Juventus has a huge knock on effect for West Ham’s striker hopes.
According to reports from Italy, terms were agreed between Juve and La Viola for Serbian hotshot Vlahovic last night.
It shows the folly of the transfer window that West Ham were rather laughably linked with the coveted star a few weeks ago.

A move to West Ham was never remotely going to happen with the world’s top clubs eyeing the 23-year-old.
But Vlahovic’s imminent £60m move to Juventus does have a huge knock on effect for West Ham’s own striker hopes.
Because reports in Italy claim the deal is the key to a triangle of transfers which will see Vlahovic go to Juve where he will replace Alvaro Morata, who will be allowed to join Barcelona while a reported West Ham target is on his way to Fiorentina (Italy24News, ViolaNation, Gianluca Di Marzio).
Imminent £60m Dusan Vlahovic move has huge knock on effect for West Ham
The final piece in the three-way puzzle is that allegedly genuine West Ham striker target Arthur Cabral will be replacing Vlahovic at Fiorentina.
Brazilian Cabral has been heavily linked with a move to West Ham over the last few months.
Reports claim Hammers head of recruitment Rob Newman has identified him as ideal for David Moyes’s side.
Goal Brazil claimed an offer for Basel striker Cabral from West Ham was imminent at the start of the window.
But the only thing that appears imminent now is his move to Florence to replace the outgoing Vlahovic.
Cabral, also 23, has been on fire for Basel this season, bagging 27 goals and eight assists in 31 games in all competitions (Transfermarkt).
Cabral is energetic, dynamic, has great movement and is a classy finisher. But he won’t be moving to West Ham if reports in Italy are accurate.
That means Moyes must now focus his attentions elsewhere with West Ham fans seriously losing patience given the club sold Sebastien Haller over a year ago and have still failed to replace him.
One striker West Ham have been linked with is Chelsea’s young star Armando Broja.
