Guido Rodriguez shares heartfelt Instagram post as West Ham announce exit
West Ham announced on Monday that Guido had parted ways with the club for good.
The Irons thanked the 2022 FIFA World Cup winner for his hard work and professionalism, as he spent a lot of time on the sidelines and as a backup to first-team regulars.
The midfielder also shared a special relationship with the club and thanked them for his personal growth.

He admitted that it was a rocky road with ups and downs, but admitted that he was delighted to be a part of the journey.
Guido wrote on Instagram: “A very special chapter in my career has come to an end. A time of great personal growth, with its ups and downs, but always focused on my work.
“I’m so satisfied to have played in this great league, and I’ll take away unforgettable memories.
“Thanks to all the staff I spent time with every day; it was a pleasure.
“Thank you, West Ham, for these years of work and respect.”

Will West Ham sign another midfielder to replace Guido?
While Guido was not a first-team regular, Nuno Espirito Santo knew that he always had an option on the bench to count on.
The Argentine was technical, but also did not mind getting stuck in and putting his body on the line for the team.
His exit leaves the Hammers a midfielder short, and James Ward-Prowse will not be under consideration until Nuno is there at the club.
The priority, in the final days of the transfer window, is to sign a new centre-back, with Axel Disasi now being considered.
However, that deal is understood to be a loan, so if there are funds, a midfielder could also be considered in the coming days.
Alternatively, they could look to bring in someone on loan to give themselves the best chance of avoiding relegation and then revisit the situation again in the summer based on which division they are playing in.
