West Ham striker Gianluca Scamacca has come out and suggested that he’s dreaming of playing for Roma under Jose Mourinho.
Gianluca Scamacca could be set for an exit from West Ham in the summer transfer window with Roma boss Jose Mourinho thought to be chasing his signature.

Hammers boss David Moyes has never set up his team to play to Scamacca’s strengths. So that will obviously have to change if the Italian is to succeed at the London Stadium.
However, it seems as though Scamacca is trying to take matters into his own hands…
Gianluca Scamacca makes shock admission that he wants Roma move and dreams of Jose Mourinho
The Italian sat down for an exclusive interview with Gazzetta dello Sport (print edition July 12th, pages 6+7) about his hopes for the future.
And the 24-year-old forward boldly suggested that playing for Roma under Jose Mourinho would be his absolute dream:

“Roma is my home. It’d be a dream scenario to have José Mourinho as manager. I’m sure I’d improve my skills a lot under Jose at Roma.”
You can’t say things like that and expect to stay at West Ham!
When Moyes sees those comments, I have no doubt in my mind that he will look to ship him off to Roma as soon as possible.
In my opinion, the only way that Gianluca Scamacca remains at the London Stadium after those comments on Roma will be if he has somehow been misquoted. It’s highly doubtful though isn’t it.
I reckon Moyes is going to need to sign a new centre-forward this summer.
