Gianluca Scamacca is keen to leave West Ham United this summer, after just one season with the club.

According to Claret and Hugh – a website with close David Sullivan links, Gianluca Scamacca, his agents and West Ham officials are set for a meeting next week to discuss his future.

Roma and Juventus allegedly want to sign the 24-year-old striker.

And it seems as though David Moyes may face a real fight on his hands if he is to keep Gianluca Scamacca at the London Stadium in the summer transfer window

C&H reckon that Scamacca is scheduled to sit down for a meeting with his agents and the club this week to discuss his future at the London Stadium.

And the Italian hitman apparently wants out.

We are still yet to make a new signing this summer and have lost Declan Rice, as well as Manuel Lanzini and a handful of youngsters.

I truly believe that selling Gianluca Scamacca would be a big mistake from West Ham this summer.

The Italian has so much quality, and if Moyes sets up his team in order to get the best out of him, he could still flourish with the Hammers in my opinion.

The way that West Ham played yesterday against Perth Glory was much more positive and the 24-year-old looked like a completely different player with the likes of Danny Ings and Dan Chesters playing in and around him.

Let’s hope that Moyes keeps Scamacca around and we see the best of him this season and beyond. However, if the former Sassuolo striker does in fact want to leave, it may well be hard to keep him at the club.
