West Ham United have apparently made another move to sign Dominic Solanke from Bournemouth this summer.

According to Football Insider, West Ham have not yet given up on the idea of signing Dominic Solanke in the summer transfer window.

Hammers boss David Moyes is desperate to sign a top-class centre-forward this summer – preferably someone who fits into his system perfectly.

And it seems as though the Scot has hit heart set on signing Solanke…

Football Insider reckon that the Hammers have continued to perform scouting missions on Solanke after our initial offer for him was rejected.

I have to say, I’m really not convinced about the Bournemouth forward! And not because he is a terrible player, he’s pretty good at what he does. I just think that he’s way overpriced.

The 25-year-old forward has a really poor record in front of goal as well. He has scored just 10 goals in 76 Premier League games for the Cherries (Transfermarkt) – a truly woeful return for a centre-forward.

Yes, he’s a really hard worker and runs the channels like Moyes loves his centre-forward to do.

Surely the Hammers can sign a striker like that for less than half the price of what Bournemouth are demanding for the former Liverpool and Chelsea man though.

I would be pretty disappointed if West Ham sign Dominic Solanke this summer, I have to say.
