French football expert delivers promising update on potential £25m West Ham move for Monaco star Benoit Badiashile live on Sky Sports.
West Ham have been linked with a host of players in the January window with Moyes said to be keen on signing a centre-back and a forward.
And the Scot has a number one January target in mind according to a report from Foot Mercato.

Foot Mercato claims West Ham are prioritising a move to sign Monaco defender Badiashile.
The 6ft 4in 20-year-old is a huge talent and has reportedly caught the eye of not only West Ham but Premier League rivals Wolves and Newcastle too.
Well now French football expert Jonathan Johnson has delivered a promising update on a West Ham move for the France Under 21 star.

Speaking live on Sky Sports News show Transfer Talk, Johnson confirmed West Ham are in for Badiashile and says a deal could be struck at around £25m.
“He’s a talented young defender,” Johnson said on Sky Sports News show Transfer Talk at 12.30pm on Monday.
“Newcastle and West Ham are both interested, Wolves too.
“He’s not an undisputed starter for Monaco, though, in the same way that (fellow Ligue 1 defender and Premier League transfer target Sven) Botman is for Lille so (they could be open to selling).

“I think the current interest, it’s my understanding, is just around 30 million Euros (£25m), which is a bit below what Monaco would probably accept.
“But I think if the offer that comes in is a bit higher than that then they would probably accept to do a deal this month.”
With Kurt Zouma said to be fit again following his injury, it eases the pressure on Moyes to bring in a new centre-back.

But with Angelo Ogbonna out for the season – and turning 34 in May – Moyes may want to get his long-term replacement in now if the opportunity is there.
Indeed he may have no choice if other clubs are circling.
What would make Badiashile an ideal signing and long-term replacement for Ogbonna is that he is a rare left-footed central defender.
