Michail Antonio is currently the only recognised number nine that David Moyes has at his disposal at the London Stadium.
And he is unsurprisingly out injured at the moment.
AS Roma Live claimed yesterday that Celtic hitman Odsonne Edouard is a prime target for West Ham this summer.
In fact, the Hammers are thought to be leading the race for the 23-year-old’s signature.

The Celtic star is out of contract at Parkhead in the summer of 2022. And because of that, he could be available for just £8 million this summer according to Football Insider.
The Hammers just need to get this deal done now. No messing about.
Even if we have to pay £10 million, £12 million or £15 million. just get it done.
Edouard would be a superb addition for West Ham.
The 23-year-old has racked up 81 goals and 37 assists in 164 games for Celtic (Transfermarkt).
The Hoops ace has been in fine form this season with 20 goals and six assists to his name in 36 games.
Paying just £8 million for the Frenchman is an absolute no-brainer for West Ham. That will also give us enough wriggle room to bring in another top class striker as well.
