The first move has been made for West Ham striker target Viktor Gyokeres as Coventry bump the price to £30m.
West Ham had a vested interest in the Championship play-off final between Luton and Coventry City.
And the Hammers got their desired result when it comes to their summer transfer window plans.
With Coventry remaining in the Championship, their star player Viktor Gyokeres will be sold.
There is no way the all-action Swedish forward will remain in the Championship after his eye-catching performances this season.
The Sun recently claimed David Moyes has been personally attending Coventry games to run the rule over former Brighton prospect Gyokeres.

First move made for West Ham striker target Viktor Gyokeres as Coventry bump price to £30m
And last month Sky Sports claimed one of its sources has confirmed West Ham are seriously interested in signing Gyokeres this summer with a £20m fee mooted.
Now the first move has been made for West Ham striker target Gyokeres as Coventry bump the price to £30m.
According to leading Portuguese sports paper Record and the likes of The Coventry Telegraph, Sporting Lisbon have made an initial bid for the man West Ham want up front next season.
The reports claim Sporting have “taken a step forward” in their attempts to sign the 25-year-old. Because they have made a formal “first offer” of 12million Euros (£10.3m) with add-ons.
Gyokeres’s agent, Ali Dursan, is quoted confirming the offer from Sporting.

Mixed news for Hammers over Gyokeres
But while the competition is bad news for West Ham, the good news is that figure is nowhere near what Coventry want for the forward.
The Sunday Mirror reports that Coventry have bumped their valuation by £10m up to £30m – which would likely be way out of Sporting’s reach and more in line with what West Ham could afford.
The reports also state West Ham remain very much interested.
With the futures of Michail Antonio, who turns 34 next season, Danny Ings and Gianluca Scamacca all in question this summer, the Hammers will almost certainly be signing at least one forward.
Gyokeres looks like the perfect all-action, powerful, hard-working heir to Antonio.
And he very much fits the hard-working, hungry profile of player Moyes prefers. With news emerging yesterday that the Scot is staying at West Ham and will have an even bigger say in transfers, expect Gyokeres to be a prime target when the window opens for domestic deals next week.
