Fabrizio Romano has just pleased West Ham fans but disappointed Chelsea fans at the same time.
Patson Daka is a player in demand this summer. The Hammers are interested in signing the Zambian ace (Zam Foot) whilst rumours have been rife that the Blues could be his next destination after he supposedly retweeted a tweet linking him with a move to Stamford Bridge.

Those rumours were emphatically put to bed last night by highly respected journalist Fabrizio Romano, however:
That is obviously a big boost for West Ham.
Had Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel been in for Daka, it would have been incredibly hard for David Moyes to bring him to the London Stadium.
The RB Salzburg ace is an absolutely outstanding talent. He has been described as an ‘exceptional goal machine’ by well-renowned statistical analysis website Who Scored.
Daka racked up a stunning 34 goals and 12 assists in 42 games for RB Salzburg so far this season (Transfermarkt). That is a sensational return whatever league you’re playing in.
The Zambia international possesses blistering pace, has great movement and is a lethal finisher.
He would be a truly sensational addition for West Ham. Daka will cost somewhere around £22 million this summer according to football journalist Ekrem Konur.
This quite simply one that we just need to get done and dusted as soon as humanly possible.
Signing the RB Salzburg ace would transform us into so much more of a potent outfit next season. And £22 million will be a very small price to pay to make that happen.
