David Moyes and Erik ten Hag are both reportedly on the look-out for new right-backs, and Juranovic would have been the ideal addition for either Premier League club.
It seems as though the Hammers and Man United are now set to miss out on the Croatian World Cup star though.
And it is a really surprise club that looks ready to scupper West Ham and Man United’s hopes of signing Juranovic…
West Ham and Manchester United to miss out on Josip Juranovic
The Celtic defender seems ready to swap Scotland for…Germany.
In a surprise move, the 27-year-old right-back appears to be close to joining Union Berlin.
That’s according to high-profile journalist Fabrizio Romano:
West Ham and Manchester United missing out on Josip Juranovic to Union Berlin would be a major shock.
I believe that the Croatian is easily good enough to be playing at the very highest level in the Premier League. I would have loved to see him move to the London Stadium.
Gary Neville described him as ‘absolutely brilliant’, and he would have taken our play to a whole new level.
Unfortunately for us though, that won’t be happening now.
And the Man United fans will undoubtedly be disappointed as well.
