Fabrizio Romano has delivered an update on the battle between West Ham and Wolves to sign £50m speed demon Aaron Wan-Bissaka in January.
It was reported at the weekend that West Ham are in talks over a deal to sign right-back Wan-Bissaka from Manchester United in the winter window.
And the Hammers are said to be facing stiff competition from fellow Premier League strugglers Wolverhampton Wanderers.
West Ham have been woeful in the fullback areas and David Moyes failed to address the glaring issue during the summer window.

New Wolves boss Julen Lopetegui is also keen to sign Wan-Bissaka according to the likes of Molinuex News.
Man United signed the fullback from Crystal Palace for £50m in the summer of 2019 (BBC Sport).
And recent reports have suggested he will try again for Wan-Bissaka in January albeit with competition from Wolves.
Reporting for the Manchester Evening News on Sunday, chief Man United writer Samuel Luckhurst confirmed West Ham’s interest in bringing the former Crystal Palace star back to London.
And Luckhurst also stated Man United are willing to do a deal with interested parties such as West Ham and Wolves in January.
Now Fabrizio Romano has delivered an update on the battle between West Ham and Wolves to sign £50m speed demon Wan-Bissaka in January.

Wan-Bissaka is regarded one of the best one v one defenders in the Premier League.
And he is among the fastest players in the history of the Premier League (WolfGangSport).
Now transfer reporter Romano has confirmed the fight for Wan-Bissaka seems to be a three-horse race between the Hammers, Wolves and his former club Palace.
“Manchester United are trying to find a solution for Wan-Bissaka in order to let him leave.” Romano said on Twitter.
“Wolves, West Ham and Crystal Palace remain interested.
“Man United’s main priority on right-back situation remains to extend Dalot’s contract. Talks will take place soon.”
Wan-Bissaka would be a superb signing for West Ham – or a club like Wolves or Palace for that matter.
The 24-year-old has been criticised for a lack of ability going forward. However, during his time at Crystal Palace, Wan-Bissaka showed he has got that in his game.
The problem is being an attacking fullback for a team like West Ham, Wolves or Crystal Palace is a totally different proposition than doing it for Man United.
Most teams who play the Red Devils will put 10 men behind the ball and try to play on the counter attack, leaving very little space in behind.
But sides will have a go at the likes of West Ham and Wolves, leaving that space for Wan-Bissaka to get forward – just as he used to for the Eagles with performances when persuading Man United to part with £50m to sign him.
