West Ham United have allegedly made a new offer for attacking midfielder Hans Vanaken but it has been rejected by Club Brugge.
That’s according to Fabrizio Romano who claims that the Hammers have made a new €11 million (£9.3 million) offer for the 29-year-old plus add-ons.

That bid has been rejected out of hand by Club Brugge though, with the Belgian side not keen to sell their star man with only nine days remaining before the transfer window slams shut.

David Moyes clearly needs to strengthen his attacking midfield department before the transfer window slams shut this summer.
And it seems as though the Scot is very keen on one man in particular…
West Ham have Vanaken bid rejected
The Hammers already made a bid for the Belgian midfielder but that was rejected by Club Brugge.
And it appears as though we’ve suffered the same fate…
Fabrizio Romano has taken to Twitter to provide an update on West Ham’s Vanaken chase:
It seems as though the owners are lowball bidding again!
As far as this one goes though, we’re not overly disappointed with that. We believe that David Moyes can do a lot better than the 29-year-old. He’ll be 30 tomorrow by the way!
West Ham are right to dig their heels in this time. He’s not worth playing more than £10 million for in my opinion.

There are plenty of younger, more exciting options out there for Moyes to explore – Flamengo’s Lazaro being one of them.
If we are going to make some genuine progress this season, the Hammers boss needs to sign an elite midfielder.
And it West Ham fail to sign Vanaken this summer, we won’t be too disappointed.
