The Italian recently returned to action having missed over two months of action after sustaining an ankle injury in February.

Oggy, 32, returned to the team for our game against Newcastle three weeks ago.

The Italy International was forced to miss the game against Burnley on Monday night with a slight hamstring strain, however.

David Moyes will be desperate to have Ogbonna back and available for selection as soon as possible. He is an incredibly important player for West Ham.

The Italian is a real leader for West Ham. Despite his advancing years, he is a hugely key figure at the London Stadium.

Ex suggested on Twitter last night that Oggy should be ok to play against Everton:

Let’s keep our fingers crossed. We need a fully fit Ogbonna for our final four games.

A win against Everton on Sunday would all but ensure a top seven finish this season.

And if the 32-year-old Italian is back and available for selection, it would be a truly massive boost for West Ham ahead of the four-game run-in.
