ExWHUemployee has claimed that the future of West Ham attacker Andriy Yarmolenko is up for review in January.

The 31-year-old joined the Hammers from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2018 for around £18 million (Football Insider).

The 92-capped Ukraine international has failed to live up to expectations since moving to the London Stadium, however.

Andriy Yarmolenko arrived in England with a big reputation. The former Dortmund attacker quite simply hasn’t produced the goods though.

His one shining light came against Chelsea last season when he scored an injury time winner to move the Hammers away from the bottom three.

Yarmo just doesn’t seem to possess the pace, athleticism or defensive responsibility needed to thrive under David Moyes, however.

And ExWHUemployee has claimed that West Ham’s highest paid player could very well be moved on in January. His future is allegedly up for review.

If Moyes needs to sell before he can buy, as has been reported, Yarmolenko seems to be the ideal candidate for the chop.

The Hammers would probably still be able to get a decent fee for the 31-year-old. And if we could even get £8 million or so for the Ukrainian, it may well be in our best interest to move him on.
