West Ham United have been linked with brilliant Southampton striker Danny Ings of late.
Injury hit West Ham still look strong for Blades with trio set to be fit and Lingard back
The likes of The Sun and reliable West Ham insider ExWHUemployee claim West Ham are interested in trying to sign Ings this summer.
Hammers boss David Moyes elected to keep the money from the sale of Sebastien Haller to try and sign a forward he wants this summer.

Moyes elected to wait until summer to buy striker HE wants despite Antonio injury record
Many have questioned the wisdom of that decision given West Ham are now left relying on injury prone Michail Antonio as their solitary senior striker.
ExWHUemployee claimed last week that Southampton hitman Ings could be an option for West Ham.
The former Liverpool ace, 28, would be an exceptional addition for the Hammers. He is hard working and never stops running for his team.

Ings would revolutionise West Ham but many have scoffed at Hammers links
Coupled with his top class finishing ability and skill and it is safe to say he is the missing part of the puzzle West Ham so desperately need.
Many have scoffed at West Ham’s chances of landing Ings amid his contract impasse at the Saints.
But ExWHUemployee has explained what will help West Ham lure the striker to east London.

ExWHUemployee explains what would help West Ham lure Ings, suggests there’s no smoke without fire
“I don’t know, it’s too hard to tell at this stage,” ExWHUemployee said on Twitter when asked if he thinks a move for Ings will happen.
“Us getting European football would help I think. His injuries will also be another thing.
“See Southampton fans maybe I wasn’t talking (expletive) after all. Perhaps there is some truth.
“Can I please explain for the hundredth time. The (Sun) article states it’s the bookies odds. Regardless of what you think of the sun they will be able to copy the odds from a bookmakers site.
“Therefore the fact he has been favourite gives credibility to the fact their may be some cred.”
Optimistic West Ham fans will certainly be hoping there is no smoke without fire in this case.
Many believe Ings would have a long line of Premier League suitors.
But realistically he is not going to play if he signs for any of the traditional top six clubs.
Even at Everton he would have to displace Prem top scorer Dominic Calvert Lewin and Leicester have Jamie Vardy in their lone striker role.
So if West Ham are interested and Ings does push for a move in search of European football and/or a bigger contract, Southampton may be forced to cash in.
Time will tell and there is a long way to go until the summer window opens.
The date for the summer transfer window has not been set yet. But it will be May 24th at the earliest with the top-flight season scheduled to conclude on Sunday, May 23.
