West Ham United striker Xande Silva has posted a cryptic message on Twitter.
Manager’s comments on West Ham striker leave fans baffled over Moyes decision
West Ham had high hopes for Silva when they signed him from Portuguese side Vitoria Guimaraes in 2018.
It was easy to see why. The striker has been capped at every youth level by Portugal.
And he underlined his talent by scoring a four-minute hat-trick for West Ham’s Under 23s against Tottenham a week after signing.

Hammers had high hopes for Silva
Silva looked on track to progress to the first team having performed well for the development side.
He was included in the odd West Ham squad and made first team appearances against Birmingham in the cup and Burnley in the league.
But a medical issue with his bowel required surgery and forced Silva to miss most of the 2019/20 season.
Silva was loaned to Greek side Aris in October. He has scored just two goals in 19 appearances but the team sit second in the Greek Super League – albeit some 15 points off leaders Olympiakos.
Meanwhile West Ham have a distinct lack of striker options with injury prone Michail Antonio the club’s only senior forward.
Antonio’s “back-up” Andriy Yarmolenko could be out for the season with injury.

And young Mipo Odubeko struggled on his first meaningful appearance for the Hammers as he was double substituted in the FA Cup defeat to Man United.
Now some West Ham fans have called on the club to recall Silva from his loan.
That’s after the striker, who turns 24 next month, posted a cryptic message on Twitter suggesting he is unhappy with something.

Hammers fans urge recall as striker posts cryptic message suggesting he’s not happy
“Naive to think everyone around me had my best intentions,” Silva said on Twitter.
Precisely what has upset the forward is as yet unclear.
But West Ham fans were quick to offer him their messages of support.
Many urged him to return to East London given Moyes’s dearth of forward options.
Whether West Ham can recall him contractually is another matter entirely.
The striker has signed a season-long loan deal with Aris. And it is not clear whether there are any clauses allowing West Ham to terminate that deal early. Or indeed whether Moyes wants to.
Antonio is expected to fit for Monday’s clash with Sheffield United.
