The 27-year-old ace has been ruled out for the foreseeable future.
Aaron Cresswell suffered an ankle knock during the Hammers’ 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace on Wednesday night as well.
Signing someone who can play in both the left-back and left wing-back positions should be West Ham’s priority in January now.

And ExWHUemployee reckons Hammers boss David Moyes wants to bring Manchester City ace Oleksandr Zinchenko to the London Stadium from the Etihad.
The 24-year-old would be perfect for us. He is an attacking full-back and can also operate on the left wing.
The Ukraine international is a real talent. He has been described by Pep Guardiola as ‘absolutely brilliant’.
Zinchenko hasn’t played much football for City this season, however, with just five appearances to his name in all competitions.

The 24-year-old is the kind of player who could flourish at West Ham, however. He would surely forge a wonderful partnership with Said Benrahma down our left hand side.
Zinchenko would also provide really strong competition for Arthur Masuaku and Aaron Cresswell.
If we can tempt City into selling and the funds are there, this one seems like an absolute no-brainer for David Moyes.
