The Hammers’ need for a new centre-forward has been well-documented already.

David Moyes has been linked with a plethora of names following Sebastien Haller’s move to Ajax.

We now have Michail Antonio as our only recognised senior centre-forward.

West Ham have made a fine start to our 2020/21 Premier League campaign and we are currently sitting in 10th spot in the table, just three points adrift of fourth placed Tottenham.

In order to maintain that form, however, signing a new striker will be of paramount importance.

Le 10 Sport recently claimed that Stade Reims hitman Boulaye Dia is a target for the Hammers.

ExWHUemployee has claimed that the Hammers could be set to submit an offer for the Frenchman shortly in order to ‘test the waters’.

The 24-year-old could be available for around £14 million according to EN24 News.

Whether West Ham are prepared to pay that kind of money for one player, however, remains to be seen.

It really should be a no-brainer, though.

Dia is a truly top class centre-forward. He already has 12 Ligue 1 goals to his name this season and is level at the top of the goalscoring charts with PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe.

The really is one that we just need to get done.

Make it happen Sully!
