West Ham United boss David Moyes could re-sign one of his former stars on a free this summer.
Perfect scenario for West Ham if Chelsea make Champions League semis tonight
According to reliable West Ham insider ExWHUemployee Moyes could move for Inter Milan midfielder Joao Mario again this summer.
And Ex says the player’s agent has already been in touch with West Ham about a potential move.

Mario set for West Ham return on a free this summer? Agent has already been in touch
The 28-year-old spent the second-half of the 2017/18 season on loan at the London Stadium.
Moyes signed the 46-capped Portugal international during his first stint in charge of the club.
And he did his bit to help keep West Ham up, scoring two crucial goals and laying on two assists in 12 games.
Mario did not set the world alight but did enough to suggest he would be a useful squad player.
Particularly given West Ham’s lack of central midfield options, which has been exposed by injuries to Declan Rice and Mark Noble.

Insider makes Mario claim with Moyes dead set on signing midfielder
Mario is currently on loan from Inter Milan at Sporting Lisbon. He is out of contract in the summer, though, which could make him an attractive option for Moyes.
And speaking on the latest West Ham Way podcast this week, ExWHUemployee said the player’s agent has already been in touch with the Hammers.
“We will be signing a new midfielder, I think that’s probably quite clear,” ExWHUemployee said on TWHW podcast.
“Interestingly, remember Joao Mario, the guy Moyes had on loan before. He’s out of contract in the summer. So I believe that his agent has already contacted us and said about ‘he is going to be available if you fancy bringing him back’.
“So there’s a chance he could come back depending on whether Moyes thinks he can still perform in this league.”
Mario does not really fit Moyes’s recruitment policy this time around.

Does Mario really fit Moyes recruitment blueprint?
The Scot has made it very clear he wants to build a West Ham team to last around young, athletic, talented players hungry to prove themselves at the top level.
Mario also comes across as a touch ingenuous and had a two-faced pop at West Ham fans after his first spell.
After a win at Leicester during his spell at West Ham, Mario told the club’s official website: “Their (the fans) support for us was amazing and it means everything, so we have to say ‘Thank you’ to them because the atmosphere they created was fantastic.”
But he then took a cheap shot at Hammers fans as he delivered a grovelling apology to Inter’s fans in an interview with Calcio 2000 (as reported by Football Italia).
“Obviously I’m sorry,” the 26-year-old told Calcio 2000.
“You learn from mistakes and that was a mistake. I have to respect a team like Inter who spent so much to sign me, and I’m very happy to have been given a second chance here.
“The Inter fans were also crucial. For them I was both an idol and a bad player. It would be great if I found the right balance.
“I’ve been in England with West Ham and they’re all too quiet there. I prefer the warmth of our fans.”
