West Ham United have been heavily linked with a move for Juventus midfield playmaker Aaron Ramsey.
Glenn Hoddle convinced star wants West Ham move
But his wife is a top chef and her passion for Italian cuisine could take any move to West Ham off the menu.
That’s if a new report from The Athletic is to be believed.
West Ham already need midfield reinforcements this summer.

West Ham heavily linked with move for Ramsey
And depending on their success in being able to sign Jesse Lingard that need may become desperation.
Football journalist Nicolo Schira and Calcio Mercato have claimed that Moyes wants to bring Ramsey back to London this summer.
And the Welshman was said to be open to joining the Hammers according to a report from Tuttosport.
Another report from Italy claimed the interest from West Ham is being encouraged after the Juventus hierarchy made a decision on Ramsey (Football Italia and Tuttosport).

Wife’s passion for food could take West Ham move off the menu
But now The Athletic has claimed Ramsey is not aware of any attempt by Juventus to offload him to West Ham or anywhere else.
And the report claims he is planning on staying in Turin. That’s because his children are settled and his wife can indulge her passion for quality food.
“Aaron Ramsey is frequently linked with a return to the Premier League but The Athletic understands he has received no indication Juventus wish to sell him this summer,” The Athletic reports.
“Although the Wales international would appreciate more opportunities as a No 8, Ramsey is enjoying his football under Andrea Pirlo, who told reporters last December: “I didn’t know he was this good and intelligent.”
“Ramsey’s family are settled in Turin. His wife, a blue-ribbon chef, enjoys the culinary opportunities the area provides and their eldest child is learning Italian.”

Ramsey no loss to Hammers, Moyes is on the right path over recruitment
It is probably for the best. There is no doubt Ramsey is a quality player.
But he certainly does not fit the profile of player Moyes has made clear he is looking to bring to West Ham.
The Scot has repeatedly said he wants to build his new-look West Ham around young, talented, energetic, fit players.
Ramsey may be talented but he turns 31 in the middle of next season. And he has also proved injury prone during his career.
Throw in his huge wages and it seems a strange on from Moyes.
