Exceptional international midfielder offered to West Ham on loan deal before deadline day

West Ham United have to get down to business now, with just four days remaining before the January transfer window slams shut on deadline day.

The January transfer window has not yielded any new signings yet for West Ham, although Graham Potter is frantically trying to get some deals done before deadline day.

The Hammers are believed to be closing in on a deal to sign Andre Silva, but that’s far from exciting is it.

Potter needs to bring a proper striker with youth on his side to the London Stadium – someone like Evan Ferguson or Brian Brobbey would do nicely.

The 49-year-old also needs to add some legs to his engine room department.

The thing is, the clock is ticking, so the Hammers had better act fast.

There are just four days left before the January window slams shut, and I really want to see us make some concrete moves now.

Central midfield is definitely an area where we need to improve.

The Hammers are in urgent need of more energy, pace and power in the middle of the park.

And the perfect player has allegedly just been offered to us on a plate.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Juventus are prepared to let Nicolo Fagioli join the Hammers on loan, as long as we include an option to buy the midfielder in the deal.

West Ham have been heavily linked with a move to sign the 23-year-old Italian already in January.

ESPN claim that Juventus value Fagioli at around £21 million, and I think he’d be well worth that kind of money for the Hammers.

The Italy international has everything that we currently lack in the middle of the park.

Fagioli possesses energy, stamina and technical ability in abundance.

The Juventus star doesn’t come without problems – he has only just returned from a seven-month ban for betting breaches.

However, he’s played 22 times for Juve this season, and seems to have put those dark days well and truly behind him.

Nicolo Fagioli is an exceptional talent, and if West Ham manage to sign him on loan before deadline day, I think it will be a great deal for the club.
