Everton reportedly want to sign West Ham United attacker Michail Antonio in the January transfer window.

That’s according to talkSPORT journalist Alex Crook who claims that the Hammers are open to offers for the soon to be 33-year-old and that has alerted Everton boss Frank Lampard.

I say let Everton have him! Antonio’s form over the past year has been truly appalling, and I just want him gone now. I don’t even care if we sell him to our relegation rivals.

Moyes recently suggested that West Ham have no interest whatsoever in selling the forward.

It seems as though the Scot, or the Hammers board, have had a change of heart though…

Everton want to sign Michail Antonio

talkSPORT journalist Alex Crook claims that the Toffees could make a January move to sign Micky.

Hopefully we move him on as a matter of urgency.

I have continually beat the drum recently that Antonio should be sold. He just isn’t good enough for the Premier League anymore, and if anything, he would weaken our rivals Everton, rather than strengthen them.

In February last year, Antonio put pen to paper on a new 3.5 year £100k-a-week deal at the London Stadium, according to the Sun.

How ridiculous does the decision to give him such a lengthy and lucrative contract look now?

Moyes needs to get the 32-year-old out the door as soon as possible.

Antonio seems to be acting like a spoiled brat. A man who demanded more competition last season is now crying and obviously sulking because he is not a shoo-in to play week in, week out now – absolutely embarrassing.

It’s time that the seven-capped Jamaica international left the London Stadium.

And if Everton sign Michail Antonio this month, I’ll be more than happy.
