TV2 claims that the door is open for West Ham United to sign Josh King after talks with Southampton broke down due to the Bournemouth striker’s wage demands.

Hammers boss David Moyes has been frantically searching for a new striker since Sebastien Haller left for Ajax at the start of this month.
The Hammers have failed to add another centre-forward to their ranks at the London Stadium as yet, however.
And with the clock ticking down, it looks like West Ham will head into the second half of the season with Michail Antonio as their only recognised senior centre-forward.
That really is inexcusable and in fact, criminal.
The owners have let the fans down. They’ve let David Moyes down and they’ve let West Ham United football club down.

There is still time for that to change, however.
Door open for West Ham to sign Josh King?
It seems as though the Bournemouth striker could be a late option for the Hammers.
TV2 claims that the door is open for West Ham to sign the 29-year-old after talks with Southampton broke down due to his wage demands.

Much will depend on how much the Cherries are willing to sell King for.
The 51-capped Norway international is out of contract in the summer.
There is no way that West Ham should even entertain paying any more than £5 million for Josh King.
If we can get him for that kind of fee, however, bringing him to the London Stadium seems like an absolute no-brainer for the Hammers.
