West Ham United are set to complete their third signing of the January transfer window with Venezuela international Keiber Lamadrid on his way to the Premier League.
It emerged on Monday that West Ham were moving for the Deportivo La Guaira kid. And, just 24 hours later, the phrase ‘done deal’ is starting to do the rounds.
The 22-year-old, capped once by the Venezuela national team, is expected to move to the London Stadium on an initial loan deal. West Ham United will reportedly have the option to make Keiber Lamadrid’s transfer permanent for just £870,000 at the end of the campaign.
How do you FEEL about West Ham signing Keiber Lamadrid?
Is this the sort of low-cost risk the Hammers need to be chasing?
And Sky Sports reporter Florian Plettenburg wrote on his official X page, at around 3pm today, that Keiber’s arrival is imminent.
Keiber Lamadrid set to join West Ham United from Deportivo La Guaira
“Keiber Lamadrid to West Ham – Done deal,” Plettenburg claims.
“Full agreement with Deportivo La Guaira. [The transfer is a] loan deal with an option to buy. Medical to follow shortly.”
Venezuelan journalist Elias Lopez has already reported that Keiber had made the trip across the Atlantic, arriving in Paris to undergo medical tests while awaiting a work permit.
West Ham are landing a ‘top dribbler’ in Keiber Lamadrid. He also brings with him an impressive reputation in the end product department, having scored and assisted six goals in 13 league matches in 2025.
Lamadrid, who is expected to play for Greg Lincoln’s Under-21 side initially, will become the club’s third January addition after Pablo Felipe and Taty Castellanos.
Who will prove to be a better signing and why?! 🤔
