It is a done deal after alleged West Ham target David Raum seals a move elsewhere as the David Moyes left-back search continues.
One of the key priority positions for Moyes to strengthen this summer is left-back.
And West Ham fans were seriously excited by strong links to swashbuckling German star Raum.

The likes of German publication Sport 1 recently claimed that the Hammers could sign the 24-year-old left-back for around £30 million from Hoffenheim this summer.
The nine-capped Germany international has everything West Ham are crying out for at left-back – or left wingback.
Raum is powerful, has bags of pace and is a tenacious competitor with a great engine. Football Talent Scout describe Raum as a ‘superb’ modern left-back.
Aaron Cresswell has been a great servant for West Ham but there is no denying Raum would be a massive upgrade – and eight years his junior.

Done deal: Alleged West Ham target David Raum seals move elsewhere as David Moyes search continues
Hopes had been high among West Ham supporters that Moyes could get a deal done for the full-back.
Especially when a potential move to RB Leipzig stalled over the last week.
But any lingering hopes West Ham might be able to bring the German to east London are officially dead in the water.
It is now a done deal after alleged West Ham target Raum sealed a move elsewhere as the Moyes search continues.
This morning RB Leipzig announced the signing of Raum on a five-year deal.

And the Bundesliga club has confirmed Raum rejected several other clubs to seal the full-back’s signature.
“We’re really pleased to have signed David Raum; this is a fantastic signing for us,” RB Leipzig commercial director Florian Scholz said on the club’s official website.
“Despite several offers from elsewhere, David chose RB Leipzig and we were able to beat off a number of clubs. He’s a Germany international and as a young player, fits perfectly to the club philosophy.
“His signing is another important sign of our goals of reaching the Champions League and developing consistently as a club.”

West Ham appeared to have already admitted defeat in the move for Raum if Moyes’ pursuit of Filip Kostic was anything to go by.
But that too seems to have ended in failure.
