The Hammers are believed to be in for both Chelsea striker Armando Broja and Sassuolo hitman Gianluca Scamacca (The Evening Standard).

West Ham boss David Moyes is desperate to sign a top-class striker this summer and either Broja or Scamacca would be superb additions.

It seems as though a deal to sign the Italian is the closest at the moment with a bid for the striker having been accepted by Sassuolo.

The bottom line is that if the Hammers are to make some genuine progress this season, Moyes needs to bring an elite centre-forward to the London Stadium.

And it seems as though there is a very good chance that that will happen in the summer transfer window…

Both strikers are very, very good and would provide stiff competition for Michail Antonio.

But which one will Moyes settle on?

Dharmesh Sheth has suggested that the final decision will come down to the Scot, which is very good news considering how David Sullivan has meddled in transfers in the past:

Let’s hope that West Ham end up signing one of the two at the very least.

The Dharmesh Sheth West Ham striker update certainly seems positive.

Only time will tell whether the Hammers owners cough up the cash needed to make either of the two deals happen though.
