A prominent West Ham source close to co-owner David Sullivan has delivered a crushing update on seven of the club’s top stars.
Relegation to the Championship would mean any club has to cut their cloth accordingly given the huge drop in revenue that comes with it – and West Ham are no different.

Although Bowen appeared to change his tune on his West Ham future in a new statement on social media this week.
Another key player and leader, Tomas Soucek, appeared to pledge his future to the club in a social media statement.
There is an acceptance among fans that the likes of Mateus Fernandes and Crysencio Summerville may have to be sold to raise vital funds.
But the prospect of keeping hold of the likes of Bowen and Soucek has many fans in buoyant mood as they feel it would all but guarantee an instant return to the top flight.
Especially amid game-changing claims about what Bowen and Soucek have told West Ham.

The growing bubble of positivity may be about to burst for the Hammers, though.
Because prominent Hammers insider Sean Whetstone, who counts David Sullivan as a close contact, claims seven top stars are expected to leave – including Bowen and Soucek.

“Despite claims some players want to stay and fight, Jarrod Bowen, Tomas Soucek, Konstantinos Mavropanos, Mateus Fernandes, Crysencio Summerville, Jean-Clair Todibo and Callum Wilson are all expected to leave West Ham this summer on the assumption Premier League clubs come in for them,” Whetstone said on X.
Wilson is an obvious one after he said goodbye to West Ham, but not without a dig at Nuno first.
Summerville also appeared to hint he will leave the Hammers in an emotional statement on social media.
To lose both Soucek and Bowen would be a big blow, though.
Although there is hope after Taty Castellanos seemed to perform a major U-turn over his West Ham future in the wake of relegation.
