West Ham United boss David Moyes is well known for being very guarded when it comes to news from behind the Irons curtain.
Whether it is injuries, team selection or transfer targets, Moyes wants West Ham to be a more discreet and professional outfit.
Gone are the days when intimate details of the goings-on at West Ham are aired in public.
West Ham linked with all and sundry but Moyes is a tough nut to crack
Since selling £45million striker flop Sebastien Haller last week, West Ham have been linked with a plethora of strikers.
Moyes batted away questions from journalists about his striker search in his pre and post Burnley press conferences.
But when he was asked a straight question by former Premier League striker Clinton Morrison on Amazon, Moyes surprisingly let his guard down.
Speaking on Amazon’s live match coverage, Moyes told Morrison exactly what type of striker he is looking to sign this month.

“Ideally Clinton, goals would always but the first thing you would say about any striker, but I’d like some pace and I’d like someone who can run in behind,” Moyes responded to Morrison on Amazon.
“Because Mikey (Michail Antonio) gives us that just now and I think if we don’t have him through injury or we need to rest him at any time, we would like that type.
“So when you start to break it down and the individual type of striker we’re after, that would be something we would really want if we could.
“But you start to get to the situation where you look to see what’s available and the truth is, there isn’t a big window of players available at this moment in time.
‘We’ve not go long to go but we’re trying’
“And also there’s not a lot of transfers going on because I think the Covid (situation) has really had a big affect on the clubs and their financial situation.”
Moyes also nodded and responded ‘Yea’ when presenter Gabby Logan put to him that he was interested in Reims striker Boulaye Dia.
“Who knows what will come up, we’ve not got too long to go Gabby but we’re trying.”
Dia appears to be West Ham’s primary target.
But West Ham insider ExWHUemployee claims the Hammers also have other forwards in their sights.
