West Ham United boss David Moyes has made progress on a number of potential new signings.
Arnautovic rumours prove wildly inaccurate as West Ham fans are taken by surprise
That’s according to a new report from Football Insider.
West Ham need to strengthen in several key areas this summer, namely up front, in central midfield, defence and the goalkeeping position.

Moyes needs several players in key positions
Moyes is also desperate to sign Jesse Lingard permanently too.
West Ham insiders Claret and Hugh recently claimed Moyes will be given £85million to spend this summer.
And it seems he is wasting little time trying to spend it.
That’s after Football Insider claimed Moyes is getting closer to sealing potential arrivals.
“The Scot is pursuing summer transfer targets on behalf of the club and has made progress on a number of fronts,” Football Insider claims.

Host of targets consistently linked but some ruled out
Which players the report refers to is anyone’s guess.
But the likes of Alex Kral, Tammy Abraham, Abdallah Sima, Sam Johnstone and several defenders continue to be heavily linked with moves to West Ham.
Some reported Moyes targets have already been ruled out of the running.
West Ham target Ivan Toney has fired Brentford into the Premier League and will now not be sold.

Goalkeeper and defender must be on the list of priorities
Another forward heavily linked with West Ham, Olivier Giroud, will also not be arriving after signing a surprise extension to his Chelsea contract for another year.
West Ham confirmed Fabian Balbuena is leaving the club this summer.
That leaves Moyes with just Angelo Ogbonna – who turns 34 next season – Craig Dawson and Issa Diop at centre-back.
Lukasz Fabianski turns 37 next season and has suffered injury problems. His back-up Darren Randolph – who many have doubts over as a top level goalkeeper – turns 35 next term too.
