Crysencio Summerville seems likely to leave West Ham United – no matter what happens in their battle against Premier League relegation.

While Summerville is happy at West Ham United, that does not mean a compelling offer would not be enough to tempt him away this summer.

Let us know your prediction for West Ham’s trip to Newcastle! 🤞

Our away record has been woeful this season! 😬

Hopefully, of course, the Dutchman plays a key role in what would be a remarkable turnaround here in east London if West Ham can overtake Tottenham in the relegation scrap.

However, whatever the outcome on that front, Summerville looks set to leave.

Summerville likely to have major offers to leave West Ham

Indeed, Roshane Thomas of The Athletic has revealed that the Dutchman is likely to receive offers this summer whether West Ham are in the Premier League or the Championship.

Speaking on The Athletic FC podcast, Thomas said: “He will have many suitors this summer irrespective of where the West Ham are in the Championship or the Premier League.”

Oh wow 👀 How has Tottenham’s draw with Leeds made YOU feel about the relegation battle?!

This weirdly feels like a boost?

Though the former Leeds winger’s form has tailed off in recent weeks, Summerville has been one of the best forwards in the Premier League in 2026

All of his five goals have come from January onwards and his purple patch at the turn of the year is partly the reason the club can even dream of staying up.

Italian giants Roma are interested in Summerville, who was reportedly in line for a new contract at West Ham prior to Karren Brady’s departure.

Clearly, no one will actively want to sell Summerville this summer. Still, if the club need to raise funds to rebuild, he is obviously a sellable asset.

In an ideal world, the winger would be among those to stay. Still, it’s perhaps safe to assume that is the least likely outcome at this stage.

The only thing that West Ham can do is to ensure that they’re a Premier League team, one able to negotiate from a much stronger position.
