The Hammers fans know all about the Burnley ace’s quality. He has scored seven goals in 10 games against the East London outfit throughout his career so far (Transfermarkt).

Some West Ham fans would undoubtedly turn their noses up at the idea of signing Chris Wood.
The 29-year-old is an incredibly consistent performer, however, having scored 46 Premier League goals since the start of the 2017/18 season.
The Clarets hitman is big, strong and a real handful for opposing defenders. He would be a real focal point for West Ham’s attack.

He would certainly provide adequate competition and cover for Michail Antonio.
Whether West Ham will be able to beat Aston Villa and Everton to his signature this summer, however, remains to be seen.
