Sky Sports journalist Angelo Mangiante claimed that the 24-year-old is one of seven players the Blues are looking to move on.
Andreas Christensen, who earns £80k-a-week (Spotrac), has really impressed for Chelsea over the past couple of years.
The Denmark international has found himself well down the pecking order under Frank Lampard this season, however.

And David Moyes should not hesitate to bring Christensen to the London Stadium if West Ham are able to pick him up for a reasonable fee in January.
The 24-year-old can play at centre-back or in the deep-lying central midfield position. That kind of versatility, and his undoubted quality, means that he would be a truly excellent addition for the Hammers.
Christensen is technically proficient and very strong in possession. The Dane has a great understanding of the game and his anticipation skills are top notch.
The chance for a fresh start and a new challenge may well appeal to the 24-year-old. Especially if he was presented with the chance to stay in London.
Christensen perfectly fits into the category of players David Moyes wants to bring to West Ham.
