West Ham boss David Moyes could try to sign Liverpool striker Divock Origi this month.

That’s according to claims from Hammers insider ExWHUemployee who suggested that Moyes will certainly be tempted to swoop in for the Liverpool man.

West Ham have consistently been linked with moves to sign Origi first by the likes of 90 Min and Claret and Hugh.

The Mirror then claimed that the 26-year-old Liverpool ace has no future at Anfield.

RONALDO NEEDS TO STOP WHINING.

And then just last week, Dharmesh Sheth (Sky Sports News The Transfer Show on Thursday evening) suggested that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp could sell the Belgian hitman for just £10 million or even less.

And now it seems as though the Hammers could be ready to make their move…

West Ham boss Moyes eyeing Liverpool striker Origi

With the Belgian available for a bargain fee in the January transfer window, the Hammers could very well make a move to sign the former Lille hitman.

That’s according to Ex who told the West Ham Way:

“Origi of Liverpool is available for a decent fee and will certainly tempt us. The chairmen have always been keen on the player but Moyes has had reservations. Could Rob Newman persuade Moyes if he is a fan? This is worth keeping an eye on although no offer has been made as yet from us.”

This one really should be an absolute no brainier for West Ham. We need to get this one done and dusted as soon as possible, if Liverpool really are prepared to sell Origi for £10 million or less.

The one problem that we might have is the Reds could be reluctant to sell the Belgian too early on in the transfer window with Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane away at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Liverpool have five games between now and January 23rd, so it is highly unlikely that they will allow Origi to move on before then. And what if he plays in those games and scores consistently…will they really want to sell him then?

That all remains to be seen.

One thing that is certain though is that if Liverpool striker Origi is available for transfer, West Ham cannot hang around. Just get it done. It’s as simple as that.
