Bartlomiej Dragowski is reportedly another goalkeeping option for West Ham United ahead of the summer transfer window.

That’s according to a report from Corriere Fiorentino (print edition April 22nd, page 11) who claim that the Hammers are showing interest in signing the 24-year-old.

Dragowski has just one year remaining on his current deal with Fiorentina.

West Ham have an option to buy Alphonse Areola for around £11 million from Paris Saint-Germain this summer according to Wyn Foot.

Lukasz Fabianski probably only has one more year playing at the very highest level and the Hammers will be looking to sell Darren Randolph in the summer (The Athletic).

So it would be no surprise to see David Moyes bring Areola to the London Stadium on a permanent basis as well as signing another top-class stopper…

Dragowski an option for West Ham

According to a report from Corriere Fiorentino (print edition April 22nd, page 11), the 24-year-old goalkeeper is firmly on the Hammers’ radar ahead of the summer transfer window.

Now, Dragowski is a very solid goalkeeper. In fact, Give Me Sport recently described him as a ‘brilliant’ goalkeeper.

Standing at 6ft 3in tall, the Pole cuts an imposing figure. He commands his penalty area with authority and is an impressive communicator. The 24-year-old is a pretty decent shot-stopper too.

He could be available for around £10 million this summer (Tuttomercatoweb).

Dragowski probably has at least 12 or 13 years left playing at the highest level. That makes the reported £10 million fee seem like very good value for money.

Much will depend on how much David Moyes actually wants to strengthen his goalkeeping department, what with so many other positions in urgent need of improvement.

Areola should be our undisputed number one goalkeeper next season. Should West Ham sign Dragowski as well though, we’d be more than happy with that.
