According to a report from El Intra Sports, Leeds could sign alleged West Ham target Nahitan Nandez for just €20 million (£17 million) in January.

The Hammers want to sign the 24-year-old midfield terrier according to Centotrentuno.

David Moyes will be desperate top bolster his central midfield ranks at the London Stadium next month. And Marcelo Bielsa is clearly in the same boat at Elland Road.

It seems as though Cagliari ace Nahitan Nandez is wanted by both clubs. Leeds have a good chance to blow West Ham out of the water, however.

The 24-year-old Uruguayan is keen to play for Bielsa at Elland Road, according to his agent agent Pablo Bentancur.

Sport Witness carried a report from L’Unione Sarda in the summer claiming that Bielsa views Nandez as the ‘perfect’ midfield addition for Leeds.

So with Nandez keen to play for Leeds and Bielsa allegedly viewing him as the perfect addition to his squad, West Ham’s task of signing the Uruguay international seems like an incredibly difficult one.

The 24-year-old Cagliari ace seems to be tailor made for the Premier League.

A tough-tackling and tenacious midfielder, Nandez has averaged two tackles per game this season. And he has a pass completion rate of 75.8% from 33 passes per game (Who Scored). With those numbers, the 24-year-old would be an exceptional addition for either West Ham or Leeds.

Unfortunately for the Hammers, however, it seems as though the Whites are better placed than us to prise the 24-year-old away from Cagliari.
