Hammers boss David Moyes is allegedly keen to bring the towering Serbia international to the London Stadium this summer (Fiorentina News).
In fact, it wasn’t too long ago when it was claimed that West Ham were expected to sign Milenkovic.

Moyes will have to act fast if he does want to sign Milenkovic, however, with Tottenham now hot on the centre-back’s trail.

Tottenham make contact with West Ham target Nikola Milinkovic
According to a report from Corriere Fiorentino (print edition, August 2nd, page 8), Spurs have made the first move to bring the Fiorentina ace to the Premier League from Serie A.
If Tottenham beat West Ham to the signing of Milenkovic, it will be a huge blow for everyone involved with the East London outfit.
The Serb is a top-class centre-back and will be a great addition for whichever club wins the race to sign him this summer.
He was magnificent for La Viola last season. Described as an ‘extraordinary defender’ by x-sport news, Milenkovic is a truly elite centre-back.
Meanwhile, back in 2018, ESPN described the Fiorentina star as ‘unstoppable’.

In 34 Serie A appearances for Fiorentina last term, the 24-year-old averaged 1.6 tackles, 1.1 interceptions and 2.7 clearances per match. He also won an average of 2.9 aerial duels per game (Who Scored).
Milenkovic is very comfortable with the ball at his feet as well. During his 34 league outings last season, he made 60.3 passes on average per game and recorded an incredibly impressive completion rate of 90.4% (Who Scored).
The Serbian could be available for around £13 million according to Italian website Calciomercato.it.
What an unbelievable bargain that would be for either West Ham or Tottenham.
It seems as though West Ham will have to act fast if we want to sign Nikola Milenkovic though with Tottenham reportedly having made the first move.
