Everton are now allegedly leading West Ham United in the race to sign Amadou Onana on the summer transfer window.
That’s according to a report from Het Laatste Nieuws who claims that Everton have taken the lead in the Onana race after West Ham had two bids rejected for the midfielder.

Both the Hammers and the Toffees are thought to be keen to sign the 20-year-old Lille ace.
In fact, West Ham have already had two bids rejected for the powerful midfielder (The Sun).
It seems as though Everton’s Frank Lampard is keen to hijack the Hammers’ interest in Onana though…

Het Laatste Nieuws claims that the Toffees are now in pole position to sign the central midfielder.
The 20-year-old starlet is allegedly rated at around £35 million by Lille according to HLN.
The Belgium international would be absolutely sensational for whichever club wins the race for his signature.
He seems to have absolutely everything needed to succeed in the English game what with its intense nature and ferocious speed and tempo.
The 6ft 5in central midfielder is an absolute giant.
He’s powerful, energetic and has everything that Moyes will be looking for in the middle of the park.
The Belgium international is equally as strong with both feet, and that’s somewhat of a rarity in the modern game.
In 32 Ligue 1 outings for Lille last season, Onana averaged 1.5 tackles and one interception per game. He made 20 passes on average per match and recorded a completion rate of 84% (Who Scored).
The 20-year-old is an absolute powerhouse of a player and would be an unreal addition to Moyes’s ranks at the London Stadium this summer.
It seems as though Everton could be a big problem for West Ham in the summer transfer window chase of Onana though.
Let’s just hope that the Hammers haven’t given up the ghost just yet.
