Big blow for West Ham as 20-year-old finally breaks silence and admits he likes Newcastle United and Leeds United.
NK Osijek striker Dion Drena Beljo has spoken out and admitted his desire to move to the Premier League, whilst name-dropping Newcastle and Leeds.
Hammers boss David Moyes wants to bring the young Croatian forward to the London Stadium in the January transfer window, according to the likes of Vecernji.

However, Beljo’s latest comments prove that Moyes has a huge fight on his hands, if he is to bring the striker to the London Stadium…
Blow for West Ham as 20-year-old admits he likes Newcastle and Leeds
The 6ft 5in hitman could be set for a move to England from Croatia fairly soon.
The problem for West Ham is that it seems as though he would rather move to St James’ Park or Elland Road instead of the London Stadium.
The young Croatian seemingly has his heart set on a big move away from NK Osijek fairly soon.
Dion Drena Beljo was speaking to Sky Sports Germany, and opened up on his admiration for both Newcastle and Leeds:

I wouldn’t mind winning the Premier League either. I watch almost every game in England. Honestly. The best players in the world play there. The Premier League is the best league in the world. Of course, there are Bayern, Paris and Real in the other leagues. But in England there are so many teams with a lot of quality. Most recently Manchester United (are his favourite team) because of Cristiano Ronaldo, but there is another team that will surely surprise you: Newcastle United! Because when I was a kid, I watched the film ‘Goal’ and the player in that film fulfilled his dream of a professional career at Newcastle. I think Newcastle will be even better in real life. Because of their financial power and the incredible fans. I also like Leeds United, by the way.
So there you have it.
It seems as though the Hammers could be fighting a losing battle in the race for the giant young striker’s signature in either January or the summer.
And it will be a big blow for Moyes as the 20-yo finally broke his silence and admitted he likes Newcastle and Leeds.
If Eddie Howe or Jesse Marsch win the race for Dion Drena Beljo’s signature, it will very much be their gain and West Ham United’s loss.
