The 24-year-old Norwich City star is one of Arsenal’s top targets this summer according to a report from the Sun.
The Gunners are desperately lacking a top class creative player in the final third.
Mikel Arteta is said to be very keen to land Emi Buendia.
Blow for Arsenal as high flying West Ham enter Emiliano Buendia race
The north London outfit may well have their work cut-out with the Hammers now thought to be chasing the Argentinian ace according to The Sunday Mirror (May 1st, page 72).

So could Buendia really end up at the London Stadium instead of the Emirates?
Incredibly, it might actually be a possibility, with West Ham currently sitting in fifth spot and Arsenal down in ninth.
Arteta’s men have more or less no chance of playing European football next season unless they win the Europa League this term.
David Moyes’s side, meanwhile, look almost certain to qualify for European football.
Arsenal do have far more financial clout than us of course. But if we are able to afford the silky South American, there is every chance that he would choose us over the Gunners considering the contrasting fortunes between the two clubs at the moment.

Buendia has been the Championship’s standout player this season
The 24-year-old has racked up 14 goals and 17 assists in 38 Championship games for the Canaries so far this term (Transfermarkt).
Those are truly remarkable numbers to have racked up, whichever league you’re playing in.
Buendia can play anywhere along the front-line and would be a sensational signing for West Ham.
