Jarrod Bowen has already told West Ham he is open to staying despite relegation but now Aston Villa have given him, his wife Dani Dyer and Daniel Kretinsky a major dilemma.
It is no surprise Jarrod Bowen is being linked with a move back to the Premier League following West Ham’s relegation.
Liverpool, Chelsea, Man United, Newcastle, Everton and even Bournemouth have been credited with an interest in West Ham’s skipper – but now Aston Villa are in the mix too.
Indeed not just in the mix, because Aston Villa have given Bowen, his wife Dani Dyer and West Ham a serious decision to make.
Commutable Villa give Bowen, wife and West Ham a big dilemma
West Ham laughed at Everton’s reported plan to bid £20m for Bowen last week.
A top spokesman for the club’s board has repeatedly told Hammers News that West Ham hope and believe Bowen will stay.

New majority owner Daniel Kretinsky has insisted the club no longer need to sell players for financial reasons.
It has also been widely reported that Villa target Bowen is happy at West Ham on a personal level too.

That relates to the fact Bowen and his wife, reality TV star Dani Dyer – daughter of Hammers fanatic and actor Danny Dyer – are settled and happy with their living situation.
Celebrity news magazine Heat World reported Dani does not want to move from the family’s £3m Essex pad and does not want to live apart from Bowen either for the purposes of facilitating a move away from West Ham.
A home improvement firm backed up those claims by revealing work done for Bowen and Dyer at their Essex property.
Bowen can remain in Essex by signing for Champions League Villa
But commutable Villa have given Bowen, Dyer and the Hammers a big decision to make.
Of all the clubs linked, The Athletic claims Aston Villa have expressed the strongest interest in signing Bowen this summer.
If Jarrod Bowen leaves West Ham, who is your DREAM replacement?
Leicester's Abdul Fatawu is an interesting option… 🤔
Villa see doing a deal to sign Bowen as ‘difficult’ but the fact Bowen can remain in Essex and commute to training and games and not disrupt his family life may sway his thinking.
The Athletic states no club-to-club discussions have taken place between West Ham and Villa.
Unai Emery is said to be a huge admirer of the Hammers talisman.

But Villa must sell players first and West Ham have told the Midlands club they are not looking to sell Bowen unless he pushes for the move.
The fact he can make the move to a team where he will play week in, week out and in the Champions League – for eight games at least – while remaining at his Essex home is a serious problem for Kretinsky and co.
After pledging they are under no pressure to sell players for financial reasons and going on record to say key players have told him they will stay if he keeps his promises, Kretinsky risks getting his West Ham tenure off on the wrong foot with fans if he sells the captain.
Especially after he had made it clear he wants to stay at the London Stadium and help get West Ham back up to the Premier League.
