Football journalist Pedro Almeida has claimed the Gunners have made a €23 million (£20 million) offer for Bunedia. Norwich are allegedly holding out for at least €30 million (£25 million), however:

Now, signing another winger or attack minded midfielder will be well down on David Moyes’s priority list this summer.

Should the Hammers miss out on Jesse Lingard, however, Buendia would be the ideal alternative.

Arsenal and West Ham chasing brilliant Buendia

The 24-year-old was in truly sensational form for Norwich this season.

He racked up 15 goals and 17 assists in 39 Championship games for the Canaries (Transfermarkt).

Those are truly brilliant numbers, whichever league you’re playing in.

Buendia can play anywhere along the front-line. He possesses blistering pace, exceptional technical ability and is clinical in front of goal.

The 24-year-old has a keen eye for a killer pass as well and plays with a certain kind of tenacity that makes him ideally suited to the Premier League.

Buendia would be a sensational signing for West Ham or Arsenal.

It seems as though the Gunners have made the first move for the Norwich ace, however.

The Hammers now need to decide whether to make a counter offer or not.

We think this is one David Moyes should be all over. And if there is a chance to bring him to the London Stadium, we can’t afford to pass up on it.
