The Italian has been a key player for the Hammers this season.

Ogbonna joined West Ham from Juventus in the summer of 2015 for around £8 million (Daily Mail). He is now considered to be a key player at the London Stadium.

Could the 32-year-old be heading for an exit for West Ham, however?

Oggy spoke to fanpage.it and refused to rule out a move to Roma:

“Anything can happen in football, but I still have two years here at West Ham where I’m doing well. Mou is a very good coach, and I didn’t expect him to be sacked before the cup final; it was shocking. But everyone has his own path.”

West Ham clearly need to keep Ogbonna at all costs.

The Italian’s current deal expires next summer. So it will be vital to get him tied down to a new contract.
