Hammers boss David Moyes wants to bring the 24-year-old hitman to the London Stadium this summer according to The Sun.

Claret and Hugh claims that signing the Blackburn ace is actually West Ham’s number one priority.

The former Newcastle ace is exactly the kind of striker the Hammers should be looking to sign this summer.

He is young, hard-working and very mobile.

The Blackburn ace is a very good finisher as well.

West Ham target Adam Armstrong in fine form

The 24-year-old scored for Blackburn against Rotherham yesterday. He has now scored six goals in his last five games.

Armstrong is at just the right age to make the jump up to the Premier League from the Championship.

Pedro Almeida reckons West Ham are ready to bid £24 million for the 24-year-old.

With just over a year left on his contract, however, surely the Hammers can pick him up for cheaper than that.

TEAMtalk reckon Armstrong could be available for less than £16 million this summer.

And if West Ham can get the Blackburn ace up for around £15 million, bringing him to the London Stadium should be a no-brainer for David Moyes.
